“Hristo Botev” Foreign Languages High-School is considered to be the heir of the first secondary school in the Eastern Rhodopes. Within the process of vocational training, the following foreign languages are being studied in language combination by two of these- English, German and French. “Otec Paisiii” Secondary School was found in year 1913. Students start learning the English language in 1st grade. In 5 th grade, students who want to study Mathematics and Informatics more extensively, form a class and study together till 7th grade. After finishing 7th grade, students have chance to study in specialized classes in Mathematics, Informatics and Biology. “P. R. Slavejkov” Secondary school is the biggest school on the territory of Kardzhali District. Based on the European managers project there have been formed the following classes in the school - “Manager of Small and Medium-sized business” which can be attaned by students who have finished 7th and 8th grade. School’s long tradition are the “Natural Science and Mathematics” classes that are organized in combination with Medical and Biological studies after finishing 7th and 8th grade.
